Pont d’Azur is a practice of deep accompaniment across personal, leadership, and organizational life, for those navigating the inner and outer demands of a meaningful life. Coaching, spiritual direction, creative writing, or pilgrimage — different paths, one intention: helping you find clarity, coherence, and the courage to walk the path of deepening into wholeness. Bilingual. 35+ years of experience. Human, and unhurried.
I walk with those willing to stay awake, listening between the lines to see differently.

The Nature of the Work
What I offer is not a program with pre-established and guaranteed outcomes, nor a coaching methodology with standardized or commercial approaches. It is serious, sustained accompaniment by a practitioner who has spent four decades at the intersection of psychology, organizational life, contemplative formation, and the study of how language and story carry genuine transformation. The work is integrative by nature. Engagements are shaped to what is actually needed. The blend is not predetermined; it is discerned in conversation.
Is this therapy? How is it different?
No — Pont d’Azur does not offer therapy, and Sylvie is not a licensed therapist. Spiritual accompaniment and coaching are distinct practices that complement, but do not replace, clinical therapeutic support. If you are dealing with mental health conditions, trauma requiring clinical treatment, or a crisis that needs professional therapeutic intervention, you will always be encouraged to connect with a licensed professional. What Pont d’Azur offers is a different kind of support — one concerned with meaning, discernment, wholeness and inner integrity, which can work alongside therapy or serve people for whom therapy is not what they need.
How is this different from regular executive coaching?
Most executive coaching focuses on performance outcomes, behavioural change, and goal achievement — and the practice offered here includes some of that. The difference is that Pont d’Azur takes the inner life of the leader as seriously as their strategic agenda. The questions of meaning, vocation, ethical integrity, and long-term coherence are not treated as soft additions to the “real” work — they are the work. Leaders who come here are usually those who have reached the limits of purely performance-based development and know that something deeper needs attending to.
Do I need to be religious or spiritual to work with you?
Not at all. The work at Pont d’Azur is open to people of any tradition, people who are exploring or questioning their tradition, and people who have no religious framework whatsoever. The word “spiritual” here refers simply to the dimension of human experience concerned with meaning, depth, character, and the questions that don’t resolve easily — those are not confessional territory. What matters is that you take your inner life seriously, whatever language you use to describe it.
What is the typical commitment — sessions, duration, frequency?
Sessions are 60 to 90 minutes, held every two to three weeks depending on your rhythm and needs. Most individual accompaniment relationships unfold over 3 to 12 months, though some people return for specific seasons of life and some engagements are shorter and more intensive. There is no minimum commitment, and the structure is always agreed together — it follows your need, not a preset program. For organizational work, formats range from a single half-day workshop to multi-month development programs.
What does this work cost?
Fees are consistent with those of a senior independent consultant, an experienced psychotherapist, or an executive coach in private practice. They are discussed openly once the nature of the work is clear. Sessions are not covered by insurance or employee assistance programs. A sliding scale is available, and a small number of pro bono engagements are offered annually. For those entering a longer arc of work, fees reflect that continuity and mutual investment. An initial conversation — free of charge — is offered to anyone considering this work to explore together whether there is a genuine fit. Cost is not a reason to stay away without asking.
